Massage Therapy

I received my license in massage therapy in 2013. My belief in preventative health led me to become a certified pilates instructor in 2015 and my continued curiosity led me to complete a yoga teacher training in 2018. Since 2021 I have been studying Biodynamic massage and cranial sacral techniques which have heavily informed and transformed my practice and approach to bodywork. These trainings as well as countless hours of continued education delving into fascia, biomechanics and somatic movement all inform my approach to my massage practice.

My curiosity and awe of the human form and its multitudes continues to grow and I strive to always be as student of this work. I am truly honored to be trusted to help people feel better in these temples of flesh we call bodies. Our time together will be tailored to your bodies specific needs.

If you are unfamiliar with Biodynamic bodywork; it achieves the same results as traditional bodywork in treating pain, injury or discomfort but the approach is different. Traditional bodywork treatments are often done from predetermined/prescribed sets of techniques and protocols. Biodynamic practitioners are trained to use deep listening and inner stillness to follow the intelligence and health already present within the client’s body. The body on my table guides where I work and how much pressure is used. This work is patient, the touch you receive may not be completely symmetrical between right and left sides, it will range in pressure depending on the tissues response in any given area, there will be moments of stillness and no two massages will ever be the same. This allows held places to be unraveled and reintegrated into the rest of the system, profoundly reducing stress and tension in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers of the body. Clients report a fuller expression of health and ease in their bodies and lives.
